While in developing countries flying is considered something for the rich, in US some people are willing to spend millions to make their personal airbus a ‘Flying Palace‘.
Such billionaires are looking to buy jumbo jets and make them outfitted as mobile mansions and for this they are willing to pay millions extra to large aircraft makers such as Boeing and Airbus.
Boeing has commented that the company has orders for 11 wide-bodied planes such as the 747 or the new 747 Dreamliner. The price of a Dreamliner is about $150 million and some born rich are spending an additional $100 million to make the 747 a ‘Flying Palace’.
